Labels are an efficient mean of incorporating a range of security features.
They are easy to use and can be adapted for different shapes and to integrate different levels of authentication. Our self-adhesive labels afford various options for integrating unique concealed or invisible security functions on the label surface as well as directly incorporated into the label’s substrate.
Our technology
– STES –
SECURED TAMPER-EVIDENT SUBSTRATE
STES® is a highly-destructible synthetic substrate incorporating security components within the coating layers. Used to manufacture security labels, STES® combines authentication and tamper-proof functions. Checking product integrity and authenticity is quick and easy with STES labels.
The laminate layers of the STES® label separate if anyone tries to remove them, thereby affording highly effective evidence of tampering. Security components visible under ultraviolet light can be used to authenticate the label, and therefore the product.
- Excellent printing characteristics compatible with all technologies (offset, flexography, photogravure, intaglio, inkjet and thermal transfer)
- Easy to convert: easily die-cut, can be fed in any direction, compatible with all known traditional adhesives and provides excellent dimensional stability
- High resistance resists water, oil, UV light, chemical substances and temperatures of +/-60°C
- ISEGA certification for contact with foodstuffs.
We can also liaise with our partners to produce paper-based security labels.
Our range of secure labels
Transparent seal labels as required in the pharmaceutical industry by European Directive 2011/62/EU.
These labels can include perforations designed to tear upon opening, Tamper Evident features such as “VOID”, and holographic authentication
Ultra destructible paper seal labels that prevent label reuse.
The substrates used in our labels are compatible with all printing technologies (flexography, offset, inkjet, etc.), meaning that they can be used in many sectors.
Secured Tamper Evident Substrate (STES®) labels combining authentication and tamper-proof functions.
Delamination of the STES® provides clear evidence of tampering. Integrating security components visible under ultraviolet light means it also provides a means of direct authentication.
